MUMBAI: Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui has captured everyone's attention with the reports of his second marriage. The comedian is said to have tied the knot with makeup artist Mehazabeen Coatwala. Rumor has it that two months before their supposed wedding, Munawar met Mehazabeen; Munawar has not responded to the rumors as of now. According to reports, they were introduced by actor Hina Khan, a close friend of Munawar's.
A source told the popular news portal, “Hina Khan introduced Munawar to Mehazabeen. Two months ago, at an event, Hina sent Mehazabeen to Munawar for his makeup. They met for the first time at that event.”
The insider said Hina also attended the wedding ceremony. Their nikah took place on May 26. Additionally, it is stated that Munawar's second wife, who has a 10-year-old kid, is also divorced from her spouse. This happened only a few days after pictures of Munawar and his alleged second wife cutting cake went viral on the internet.
Munawar Faruqui's six-year-old son Mikael was born into a previous marriage to Jasmine. Munawar discussed his son with Mannara Chopra during their time in the Bigg Boss 17 house last year.
“I have been with someone for the past two years. I was in a marriage in 2017 and in 2020 we got separated. Last year our divorce was finalised. Amid all this, the best thing about my life is my son. He is 5 years old and stays with me,” he said.
“I know he is watching me. He is my fan, he knows all my songs and watches my music videos. He sees everything that I post and now he will stay with me My ex-wife got married so now my son will stay with me only. In the past 4-5 months, I got so close to him that there is no limit to that affection. He is very smart,” Faruqui added.
