MUMBAI: Leading OTT platform ZEE5 has entered into an exclusive partnership with Indi-pop band Euphoria. Euphoria has agreed to exclusively launch their new single Saajna with ZEE5. Saajna will be available exclusively on ZEE5 for 5 whole days!
ZEE5 gives users the choice to binge watch from over 1,00,000+ hours of TV shows along with 500 series in as many as 8 Indian languages.
The OTT platform's originals also are quite interesting and varied.
Their partnership with Euphoria, one of the pioneers of the Indian pop music, is sure to excite viewers.
Euphoria was put together by Palash Sen and his friends in New Delhi in 1988. The band comprises of Debajyoti Bhaduri, Rakesh Bhardwaj, Prashant Trivedi, Ashwani Verma, Vaishali Barua, Krutika Murlidharan, Vinayak Gupta, Amborish Saikia, Aditya Shankar Benia, Bharat Raj Bahadur, Kamakshi Khanna, and Kinshuk Sen.
The band was a rage in the 90s. Lead by Dr Palash Sen, they have given us huge hits like Dhoom Pichak Dhoom, Gully, Ab Na Jaa, and Maeri.
In the last two decades, Euphoria's music videos have changed from romantic ones to those that focus on important issues like mental health and suicide. But, the folksy rock they started out with still remains.
On 17th May 2019 (this Friday), ZEE5 is all set to serve us with some nostalgia by live streaming the band's concert from Delhi. What's more? Euphoria will also launch their new music video and perform it as a part of its 45-minute set.
