MUMBAI: The lockdown has hit a blow and all the industries including the entertainment industry came under the wrath of the virus, and its exponentially growing rupture. While a lot of actors were financially jeopardised, a handful of them even came forward and expressed the issue openly.
Elucidating the same, Pandya Store actor Akshay Kharodia also came forward and opened up about his struggles. The actor, who forayed into the entertainment industry without any Godfather, has come a long way and paved his own path.
Talking about his struggles, Akshay averred, "Last year when I didn't have any show, ads helped me a lot to stay stable financially. As I have done many ads, everyone has my profile, so they used to get me to work and I used to record and send the videos. So every month I almost did 4-5 commercials from home.".

While expressing his gratitude, the 25-year old said that despite having no stable source of income he never ran out of money. "So, in that situation where people were struggling and not having work and fighting for food, I had work. It was all because of my hard work and the relationship I have maintained with the production houses. I did almost 30 commercials during the lockdown period.", concluded the Pandya Store actor.
