MUMBAI: The film and TV industry lost another legend today. Veteran actress Surekha Sikri who appeared in several films and TV shows left for the heavenly abode today.
The actress breathed her last due to cardiac arrest.
Surekha Sikri was not keeping well for quite some time. The actress kept working till she could and delivered some of the finest performances in films and TV shows.
The entire TV and film industry is extremely sad losing such a creative talent.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Rajshree Thakur who was the veteran actress’ former co-star.

Rajshree Thakur and Surekha Sikri worked in Zee TV's show Saat Phere.
Rajshree was all praises for the senior actress and said, ''The whole world knows that she was an amazing actress. I was totally floored seeing her performance in Badhaai Ho. I was very happy that she won a national award for that movie. I feel all her performances deserve the national award.''
The Shaadi Mubarak actress added, ''I am very fortunate to share the screen space with her.''
Rajshree reveals how she used to take care of her diet and also motivate her and the co-stars to do so.
The actress reveals that the star cast of Saat Phere used to refer to Surekha as Bhabho.
Well, Surekha's presence will always be missed!
