MUMBAI: Actress Reyhna Malhotra is known for playing negative in television shows. The actress has played antagonist in shows like Jamai Raja, Ishqbaaaz, Dil Boley Oberoi, Mannmohini and currently playing the negative role as Aliya in Zee TV’s top-rated show Kumkum Bhagya.
Pooja Banerjee quit the show recently due to her pregnancy. Now the makers of the show have replaced Tina Philip as the new Rhea Mehra.
On shooting with new Rhea, Reyhna shared, “She is very sweet and she's getting into character well. It's nice to see someone coming and moulding into the character. She has swiftly moulded into it. All the actors are great and non-intimidating. Also, Shabbir and Sriti have placed a benchmark already, so we look forward to matching their levels.”
We asked Reyhna if she wishes to do any reality show, to which she replied, “If it offers a lot of money, I would definitely be doing it because it requires a lot of guts and emotional strength. Also, reality shows are very unpredictable so it's a big risk.”
Also, if she is open to doing mythological or historical shows? It depends on the role. I don’t mind experimenting. For me, the character has to be interesting.”
