MUMBAI: TV actress Sangeeta Ghosh is a pleasant person to talk to. She spreads a ray of positivity with her beaming smile and persona.
She has come a long way from shows like Rishtey, Kurukshetra, and Adhikar. She emerged as a great performer as Pammi in Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand and went on to showcase great acting skills in shows like Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, Parvarrish - Season 2, and Rishton Ka Chakraavyuh.
The actress is playing the role of Pishachini in Star Plus’ newly launched show Divya Drishti, produced by Fireworks.
In a chat with TellyChakkar, Sangeeta spoke about her role and more.
She shared, 'I am little nervous, as I have never played a character like Pishachini in my acting career. Although there are a lot of fantasy and supernatural shows currently on TV, as an actor, my challenge is to look different from others.'

When asked what made her do a show like Divya Drishti, she said, 'Pishachini is highly entertaining, unlike other vamps on TV. Yes, she is intense and powerful and has a purpose to rule over the world, but how she tries to achieve this is very cool. She keeps herself updated and tech-savvy. One more thing I want to add is that our show is not supernatural or horror based. It is a modern show with modern characters. It is an imaginative show with elements of magic and fantasy.'
Talking about her stylish outfit in the show, she shared, 'Initially, it was a little tiring to manage the outfit along with a harness, but now, I am enjoying it. The attire that I am seen wearing is very beautiful.'
When asked her if she critics her own work, she replied, 'When it comes to criticizing my own work, I never like it. Also, I believe one should not be critical to that extent.'
Finally, Sangeeta shared that she would love to make her digital debut. She shared, 'If something interesting comes up, I will surely take it up. Digital is progressive and a platform where good concepts are experimented with.'
