My dad did not want me to play a negative role: Vividha Kirti

Vividha Kirti
The innocent looking Vividha Kirti is currently seen playing a vamp Ambika in Colors’ Uttaran. Yes, anybody who has seen this pretty looking actress would wonder why is she enacting a negative character and not a positive one. The actress has a very innocent face and probably that’s exactly what the creatives of this show are banking upon, which proves to be a facade to her sinister attitude (in the show). Ask her how a kind-looking-girl like her accepted a negative role and she laughingly answers, “Trust me, this is the first show in which I play a negative role. Importantly, I took a chance to play it as it has a lot of potential. For this, I am going to put in my best as an actor and just hope that the audience accepts Ambika.” Is she anywhere close to this character in real life? “No, I am completely opposite of Ambika. In real life I am very patient while she cannot take a ‘no’ for an answer. But then at the end of the day it is the circumstances that make her the kind of person she has turned out to be,” Vividha informs. Wasn’t she scared of people throwing darts at her poster for troubling their favourite bahu Meethi (Tina Dutta)? “I was, but then I wouldn’t have got such a chance ever. In fact my dad too did not want me to play a negative role but then I managed to explain him that I’d get to perform as an actor here,” she observes. We are eagerly waiting to watch how Ambika takes her revenge!!!
