Producer Nilanjana Purkayasstha, who is currently producing Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala on Star Plus, has definitely come a long way.
Currently, Happy, played by Jasmin Bhasin in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, has turned sales woman by selling water purifiers in the show. This sequence has made Nilanjana nostalgic and has made her share her struggle story.
In a post on Instagram, she shared, 'My first job was with a water purifier company in Guwahati, after I graduated. My salary was Rs. 2300 per month. Working in Mumbai and that too in the entertainment industry was a pipe dream.'
