Nachiket Lele’s song on Bhagat Singh brings tears to Neha Kakkar!

MUMBAI: India’s most loved singing reality show, Indian Idol gears up for the Republic Day special episode and so do the contestants, as they are all set to shine and roar their voices on stage. For this special episode, as the contestants lend their voices to the nation, there will be special guests from the Armed Forces present to boost the confidence of each contestant.

Nachiket Lele, popularly known as the contestant with a complete package of entertainment, appeared in the getup of Bhagat Singh as a tribute to him. He sang a very touching song, titled, “Mera Rang De Basanti” and as he sang, not only did tears roll out from everyone’s eyes but also took each one back to the times of Bhagat Singh, making the song and the scene extremely special.

Neha Kakkar had tears rolling down her eyes as Nachiket sang on stage and said, “Each word of this song gives me goosebumps even when I think of it, and the way Nachiket sang today, I simply could not control my emotions. Truly, you are blessed with a gifted voice, keep it up!” As she gave this message out loud, Nachiket too burst into streams of tears to which his mother had to come up on stage and console him. He said, “I could completely relate to Bhagat Singh as when he was hanged, he was 23 and I too am 23 currently. Every line in this song is touching and I could not hold back anymore. This song and this episode will always remain close to my heart.”

Stay tuned for more and keep watching Indian Idol season 12, only on Sony Entertainment Television, every weekend, from 8 pm onwards. #IndianIdol12
