The comments have not gone well with a lot of people, especially Ishqbaaaz actor Nakuul Mehta, who is a strong supporter of this movement. The ace actor took on to his twitter and expressed his opinion on Shatrughan Sinha’s comments on. He shared the tweet by ANI and wrote, ‘This did not even need a KWK couch! Absolute bonkers.’

Even Twitterati slammed Shatrughan Sinha for belittling the movement. The controversy was based on the following statement made by him: ’I consider myself very lucky that in today's time even after several instances, my name did not pop up in Me Too movement. That's why I always obey my wife or make her my shield when I step out of the house.’
