Shalini S Sahuta, who was last seen in Naaginn on Zee, will be playing Anjali Sharma in Ganga Kii Dheej. A source says, “She will be seen as a city girl, who has studied in Canada and is now working in Mumbai as a journalist. Anjali is a very positive and sweet person. She speaks what she believes in. She is very responsible, helpful, lively and humble. She is passionate about her work and wants to achieve something in life. She has an emotional side too which she doesn’t show in front of everyone, rather chooses to keep it to herself. “She was best of friends with Agantuk when they studied together in Canada, where he was studying management while she did her journalism. “One day, Anjali’s friend meets with an accident and that’s when she goes to visit him in the hospital. Since her friend is admitted in the same hospital as Agantuk she will meet him. But, she will be hurt to see him in coma." Mohit Raina (Agantuk) says, “Yes, she does see me in the hospital.” Shalini confirmed her presence in the show and said, “Agantuk and I are best of friends and I care for him.” Her entry will be aired tomorrow.
