Nick launches Bakra

Nick, the TV channel for kids, has announced the launch of <em>Bakra</em> starting 5 June. <em>Bakra</em>, India’s most popular hidden camera comedy show, produced by MTV, is Nick’s eighth new launch this year and will feature on Nick’s popular Nick Hahaha comedy block. The <em>Bakra</em> episodes on Nick, chosen from the existing library, have already run on MTV over the last few years.

Hema Govindan, vice president and general, manager - Nick India says, “Bakra, whose popularity transcends all ages, will be a valuable addition to our already laugh-riotous Nick Hahaha block which also includes Kenan & Kel, Drake & Josh and Laurel & Hardy. Starting 5 June, Bakra will air every weekday at 6.30pm, repeating at 9.30pm with one-hour specials at 4:00 pm on weekends.
