Everyone was shocked when Dharmesh Yelande fondly called as 'Dharmesh sir' by his co-participants and mentors alike was ousted from Dance India Dance 2. But his undying spirit and nimble feet brought him back on the show through wild card entry. Along with him will enter three contestants from the reserve team - Saajan, Amrita and Jack. Says our source, "Out of the eight contestants - Vandana Joshi, Altaf Nadmal, Parvez Rehmani, Jack, Dharmesh Yelande, Amrita, Bhawna Khanduja and Saajan, only four were to be chosen to make a come-back on the show. And the lucky ones were Dharmesh, Saajan, Amrita and Jack. Interestingly only Dharmesh Sir from the originally evicted dancers managed to make his way back into the show while the remaining three wild-card entrants were from the stand-by camp. The stand-by team had dancers who Mithunda had personally picked during the auditions; those who had the potential but didn't make it to the three mentors' teams. So in the wild card episode, they were given a chance and the viewers who now onwards will vote for their favourite contestants gave a thumbs-up to three (Saajan, Amrita and Jack) contestants from the stand-by team rather than those who had already showcased their talent." Yelande's re-entry will only bring smiles on the faces of the mentors and his co-participants. The episodes will air this weekend on Friday and Saturday at 9.30 pm on Zee TV.
