Vibhu shared, “I am a lot better now after the complicated surgery that happened in February. From the beginning, the doctors were very sure that they would not be doing this surgery because of the complications involved in it.”

He further added, ‘But it’s a miracle that they performed this surgery and it has been successful too. For me, the healing from cancer was not just about one thing but a combination of various healing elements, including my mental state. It is my daily effort to make sure that the energy I am surrounded by is positive.”

The actor who has been part of several Tv shows added, “During these two years of being diagnosed with this disease, I kept on asking my doctor after every PET scan when I would have my colon surgery to remove the affected part and every time he would reply this is never going to happen. With this surgery, my primary tumor was removed, and the metastasis which is at the liver, had shrunk a lot but it had not gone completely. What the doctor was saying was not in my control but I made all efforts with positive affirmations and other healing modalities to manifest the best for me.”

He further said, “Miracles have been a part of my journey of dealing with cancer -- from arranging funds, to my surgery. And not to my surprise the day came when the doctor himself suggested trying out the complicated surgery. Presently, the latest scans suggest that we are in a lot better spot now. Doctors recommended some procedures for the tumours in the liver so we are undergoing that right now. With a little more luck, we might soon be out of it.”

He concluded saying, “Cancer is a very isolating disease not only for the patient but for the whole family. But I always made sure that I didn’t have to hide within the four walls of my house just because I had cancer and keep quiet about it. Plus, it’s been two years and I am blessed that my friends from the entertainment industry and my family are still not tired of this cycle of getting me treated. I am blessed to have Simple Kaul, Additi Mallik, Mohit Malik, Saumya Tandon, Abbas Rizvi, Manini Mishra, Sanaya Irani and Mohsin Khan and Tuhinaa Vohra as my friends.”
