Niveen A Ramani's 'anklet' woes on the set of Star Plus' Tu Mera Hero

Niveen A Ramani

Niveen A Ramani was recently in headlines for being the traveller to be shot dead by Bhabho in the hijack fiasco in Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum. Now he is seen essaying the role of Chetan, the to-be-husband of protagonist Panchi’s (Sonia Balani) sister, Rachana in Star Plus’ recently launched show Tu Mera Hero (Shashi-Sumeet Productions).

The track in the show is presently revolving around him, as his engagement to Rachana will be shown soon. But not many know that the man limps through his scenes as he shoots for them. The reason being that, he has still not completely recovered from the major ligament tear that he suffered just before he could start shoot for an episodic of Gumrah Season 3.

For the uninitiated, the doctors had told Niveen to have a cast in place for nearly three weeks. But when he was told to start shoot for Tu Mera Hero, a project which he had signed long back, he decided not to compromise with work. He requested his doctor to put an orthopaedic anklet to support his ankle from further damage.

A source from the set of the show said, “Niveen is fighting through a lot of muscular pain to give his best for the show.”

When contacted, Niveen brushed off his injury stating, “Well, the show must go on, and I am here enjoying my role in Tu Mera Hero.”

Three cheers to your dedication, Niveen!!
