No Shiney-like disgrace on Balaji show

A few days back, a tabloid reported how Ekta Kapoor’s upcoming show Betaab dil ki tamanna hai will have a character who’ll emulate the real sordid deed of disgraced actor Shiney Ahuja. Seasoned actor Salim Ghouse is to play this character, so said that report. However, that’s far from the truth. Not only is there no such track in the show but Ghouse also doesn’t figure in the cast. A source closely associated with the show informs, “I don’t how this story cropped up. There is absolutely no truth to it. Salim Ghouse is not part of the show at all. The story basically revolves around the lives of three sisters who come down to Bombay from Assam. In Mumbai, they meet a taxi driver (male lead) who plays a pivotal role in their lives. The story is basically about these four characters. We’re still haven’t got our main leads yet “ Meanwhile, Ghouse’s wife Anita fumed, “This is totally ridiculous. My husband is not doing any Balaji show. How could they publish such false news? And now they’ve issued a corrigendum today.” For those uninitiated, Shiney Ahuja is currently in jail for allegedly raping his maid.
