Nupur Mehta and her Bigg Boss drama

Starlet Nupur Mehta (Jo Bole So Nihaal) who was in the news for her alleged involvement in match fixing (News Of The World sting operation) recently created a flutter when she went on record to say that she is a participant in Bigg Boss season 6. Her confirmation to the media surprised everyone for all contestants of this Colors reality show produced by Endemol sign a non-disclosure agreement. According to it, everyone has to keep mum on his or her participation till the channel officially announces it. Last year’s contestant Pooja Bedi confirmed the same by saying, “We are bound by strict contract.” No wonder if you speak to any actor whose name is doing the rounds as a contestant for the sixth season which starts on 7 October, such as Aashka Goradia, Aman Verma, Arjun Bijlani, Vrajesh Hirjee, Jay Bhanushali, they are all denying it. Hence, we called up Nupur to ask about her singing a different tune and as expected she changed her stance and refused to comment on the same. Her tone was also a bit agitated and “she wanted to know why we are asking and that she is not open to talk on this subject.” We guess the channel must have ticked her off or was she just shouting from the roof top to seek publicity? When we asked Pooja Bedi about the reason behind Nupur’s blurting out act, she wondered, “Is Bigg Boss an image correctional facility? Bunty babli style thief guy, Monica Bedi, Charles Sobhraj's girlfriend etc … So weird! ” We also dropped a text to the channel and the production house for a comment on the same. But did not receive any reply till the time of filing the article. Well… if Nupur indeed goes ahead to be a part of the show, then it would be worth finding out why the confidentiality clause was waived for her. Was it because the channel wanted some buzz or she just wanted to grab the headlines? Time to don the thinking cap folks…
