MUMBAI: The 11th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi concluded recently and Arjun Bijlani emerged as the winner of the stunt-based reality show. The popular TV actor navigated through all the challenges and stunts on the show to win the trophy.
But his victory was not taken well by some of the netizens. Many criticised the makers of the show for having a predetermined winner. Recently, Arjun Bijlani dismissed claims that the Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 results were rigged and that he was crowned the winner because Colors favoured him.
Arjun spoke to Bollywood Life and shared that it's quite sad to hear this as the show wasn't based on who the audience likes or who the network prefers. It's decided by who can pull off the stunt with the most finesse.
He said , “I was better on that day, the channel was not doing the stunt. Once people see it, they’ll know it is a tough, tough stunt, and Divyanka was caught in the net for a while. Everyone who saw the stunt knew I did it faster.”
Fans, according to Arjun, will always want their favourite competitor to win. He also stated that he didn't win because the network wanted me to.
After winning the show,Arjun took to his Instagram, and shared a note. He captioned it at,“Winning losing toh chalte rehta hai (winning and losing will go on) what really matters is the journey on the show. I think we all had a great one on #khatronkekhiladi11. In all honesty, I think @vishalsingh713 and @divyankatripathidahiya are also winners. Like I said, the journey on this show matters. They have had an equally great one.”
The stunt based reality show hosted by Rohit Shetty, was shot in Cape Town, South Africa. Arjun was up against Divyanka Tripathi and Vishal Aditya Singh in the final stunt. Vishal aborted the stunt halfway while Arjun won against Divyanka by 20 seconds in the final stunt.
