MUMBAI: In a shocking turn of events, Tera Yaar Hoon Main actress Vibhuti Thakur became a victim of cybercrime. She told a daily, “Firstly I thought that it is some kind of prank. I was getting calls from different numbers and people across. But when people started asking me sexual favours, I had an emotional breakdown. I was shattered with these filthy and cheap messages. She has filed a complaint as she wants those who sent her dirty filthy messages to be nabbed by the cops.

Aparna Dixit had to file a complaint as people had hacked her Facebook account and were sharing sexual content from the same. It seemed they had blocked her from Admin so she could not do anything. Aparna Dixit said it was disheartening and she filed a complaint about it. This happened in 2021.

Bigg Boss 13 was known for its ugly fan wars and Devoleena Bhattacharjee fell prey to it. A person who was allegedly a fan of Shehnaaz Gill sent her an audio clip that had filthy abuses against her mom and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. The actress filed a complaint with the Mumbai Cyber Crime cell.

Rashami Desai in 2013 decided to take action against an impersonator on a social media platform. It seems the person was chatting with others pretending to be the Uttaran actress. The person also asked for money. Rashami Desai dealt with it sternly. The account got blocked eventually.

In 2017, Nia Sharma’s Instagram account was hacked, and she complained to the cyber cell for the same. The offender left hate messages for her from her own account. She became aware that the account was hacked after some fans informed her of the same. Nia Sharma told the media that it was risky and unfortunate.

In 2017, Donal Bisht’s email account was hacked. She filed a complaint with the cyber cell. It had information about bank accounts so she was stressed out. She filed an FIR in Charkop.
