One year down, many more to go! for &TV’s Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein

MUMBAI: It has been a successful one year since &TV’s Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein showcased the pure and devotional connection between a Bhakt and Bhagwan. On achieving the grand milestone, it was an emotional moment for the entire team as they became family to each other ever since the show premiered on January 28, 2020. The team celebrated this huge success by cutting a cake for the occasion. The cast of the show, Santoshi Maa (Gracy Singh), Swati (Tanvi Dogra), Asur Rani Paulomi (Sara Khan) and Indresh Singh (Ashish Kadian) talk about the good times shared with each other and how each of their characters witnessed a growth and change in the show. Expressing her gratitude, Gracy Singh (Santoshi Maa) shares, “Essaying the role of Santoshi Maa has been absolutely exhilarating for me. To enact a Goddess is a divine feeling and, I am grateful that I got to play the part. Being on the show with the wonderful cast and crew, work doesn’t feel like work to me and there is no one else I’d rather share this experience with.”

Tanvi Dogra (Swati) adds to the sentiments, “We appreciate our loyal viewers and thank each and every team member for their support in making the year-long journey of ' Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein ' smooth and successful! My character has witnessed a roller-coaster of emotions and toiled through it all. Playing a double role of Swati and Babli enhanced my skills further and, I look forward to more such opportunities in the upcoming years to come." Sara Khan (Asur Rani Paulomi), playing the antagonist on the show comments, “Being on the sets has always been exciting as the work in itself is sheer fun, a year has passed and it still feels as if it was just yesterday that we met each other. My character has gone from being in the dharti lok to being banished to patal lok, the various looks that I have pulled off in order to play my character has been very engaging.” Ashish Kadian (Indresh Singh) says, “I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience so far and, completing a year with such a wonderful team gives me a lot of happiness.

When I look back over the year that was, my most memorable moment has been when we all met post the lockdown period and I was thrilled to see my reel family after so long. I look forward to spending many more years with them making memories for life.”
