Open threat to Spider-Man creator after release of new Remastered game, calls out fans to be 'Respectful'

Since the release of the new Spider-Man Remastered game, its developer Bryan Intihar has been flooded with threats all over the internet.

MUMBAI: Spider-Man has been a favourite super hero character across the globe.Its massive fan base has broken all records.The fictional character was created by writer-editor Stan Lee and writer-artist Steve Ditko and till now, many films, games and lots more have been created. It was recently that the trailer of the new Spider-Man Remastered game was released

Taking the medium of social media, the developer and creative director of the remastered version displayed his disappointment with the online threats he received and reacted to the same. On Twitter, Bryan Intihar made a tweet to all the superhero fans out there and shared how he is not in favour of the online warning messages, after the trailer release of the new game.

He also mentioned that he is overwhelmed by the passion of the fans but he does not appreciate them sending him threatening notes and messages.

The Spider-Man creative director tweeted, “To our Spidey fans: I totally appreciate your passion, but sending me threatening notes that you will “HUNT YOU DOWN AND WE WILL FIND YOU! YOU FIX THIS NOW!” isn’t cool. With what’s happening in today’s world, let’s be a force for good and be respectful of each other. Thank you.”  Bryan said that sending warning notes like ‘Hunt you down and we will find out’; ‘you fix this now’ is not something he is okay with. He then requested the fans to be respectful of each other, with what’s happening in today’s world. Intihar concluded by thanking everyone.

Meanwhile, after Bryan’s message to the Spidey fans, many came out in support of his tweet. Fans extended their support to him and apologized that he has to deal with such hostility.. Many also asked him to keep his head up, while many expressed their excitement for the release of the games.
