Our industry has become more professional: Jagat Rawat

Acting has been his passion for a long time.

Talented and impressive Jagat Rawat is currently seen as Bijoy Bose on Sony TV’s Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi. His character aptly reflects his acting flair and commendable timing.

Apart from that, he has movies like Commando - A One Man Army, Ab Tak Chhappan 2, Manjhi - The Mountain Man, No One Killed Jessica and Happy Bhag Jayegi and TV show like Powder, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins to his credit.

In a conversation with Tellychakkar.com, the actor spoke about his journey so far, Kuch Rang and more... 

“I have been in this industry for 12 years now. I feel that it's become more professional and the scripts have become crisp.”

When we told Jagat about audiences loving his character in Kuch Rang, he shared, “Kuch Rang is a different show. The script is very nice and the characterisation of each role is unique and is portrayed well. I am not a Bengali but my onscreen wife Moon Banerjee and my onscreen mom are Bengalis, so they help me with the dialogues and accent.”

When asked about his co-stars, he quipped, “Erica (Fernandes) and Shaheer (Sheikh) are very good actors. Fans love them a lot. Supriya (Pilagonkar) is a gentle lady. Though she has been in the industry for a long time now, she is very humble and soft-spoken.”
