Panic strikes: Snake on the sets of Colors' Sasural Simar Ka

Sasural Simar Ka
Terror struck the entire team of Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions) when a snake was seen on the sets. The team there was seen running helter-skelter. Yes, you heard it right. There was a snake on the sets of this serial for real. Wondering how did the reptile manage to get in this well-guarded set? Well, the entry was a part of the script itself (ha ha). As per the current track, Khushi aka Sonia (Shalini S Sahuta) is trying to get some information out of Roli’s (Avika Gor) room; but she hasn’t been able to do that in the presence of the family. Hence, in the upcoming episode, she will get a snake in the house to distract the attention of one and all. Interestingly, the sequence turned out to be scary for real. In fact, Falaq Naaz best known as Jhanvi ran out of the sets on seeing the snake. “I have a phobia. I can’t really see these creatures. On seeing the snake my pulse rate increased drastically and we had to call for a doctor. I haven’t been able to sleep since yesterday,” confessed Falak. Dheeraj Dhoopar aka Prem too was super scared to be around the snake initially, but he went on to be the brave heart and actually caught the snake at the end of the day. “It’s scary to see a snake right in front of you. I too was scared but after our eight hours of shoot I wasn’t that scared. In fact, I also got the opportunity to catch the snake with a blanket at the end of the day as it was part of the script,” observed the actor. Luckily the snake did not bite any one of the cast or crew members, but the owner of the snake had to himself bear the brunt. “When the snake entered a sofa we asked the owner to remove it out of it; this is exactly when it bit him. Luckily he was fine even after that,” confirmed a source. All we can say is being a TV actor is not a snake…err cake walk!
