MUMBAI: Pankhuri Awasthy is a popular TV actress, who has worked in several shows. She is known for her roles in Razia Sultan, Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka, and Suryaputra Karn among others. She is currently making headlines for the show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.   

Well, Pankhuri, who plays the psycho-lover of Kartik, named Vedika has been for quite some time missing from the show. The actress has been receiving much flak on social media for her negative character. Social media users have been bashing and trolling Pankhuri brutally for playing the particular role. And after her relative absence from the popular drama, many even thought that the actress has finally bid adieu and left forever. 

But, seems like Pankhuri's haters cannot rejoice now, in fact they will have to bear a shock, as Vedika is returning to YRKKH. She said to media that she is aware of the fact that being a part of the industry one has to face these situations, but sometimes as a human being you are bound to get affected by such distasteful remarks. However, she is not afraid of anyone. She also highlighted the fact how it is ironical that people still cannot understand the difference between reel and real. 

For the uninitiated, Pankhuri was absent from the show as she wasn't present in Mumbai. The actress was in Uttar Pradesh, shooting for Ayushaman Khurana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Savdhaan.
