MUMBAI: Actress and entrepreneur Parul Gulati recently experienced a heartfelt reunion with her alma mater and esteemed mentor, the acclaimed acting coach and actor Saurabh Sachdeva. Before making her mark in the entertainment industry,
Parul refined her craft under his expert guidance. Saurabh has mentored some of Bollywood’s finest talents, including Ali Fazal, Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, Raghav Juyal, Harshvardhan Rane, and Tripti Dimri, among others. This time, she returned not as a student but as an accomplished artist, reuniting with fellow actors like Ali Fazal, Raghav Juyal, Kubbra Sait, and Karanveer for a memorable workshop.
The special gathering was curated by Saurabh Sachdeva, who brought together his former students—now established actors—for an exclusive three-day session. This initiative served as a platform to reconnect, reflect on their artistic journeys, and explore fresh creative dimensions under his guidance.
For Parul, this reunion was a cherished moment, allowing her to revisit the teachings and techniques that laid the foundation for her acting career. Reflecting on the experience, she shared, “Saurabh sir has been instrumental in shaping my craft. His classes were never just about acting—they were about diving deep into emotions, mastering storytelling, and challenging oneself as an artist. Reuniting with him felt like a full-circle moment—an opportunity to reflect on my growth and refine the very skills that have shaped my career.”
She further added, “Saurabh sir is more than a mentor; he has been a guiding light for so many of us who once sat in his classroom with dreams in our eyes. Being part of this special session with him and other incredible actors he has trained was an inspiring experience. It was a chance to collaborate, share our journeys, and create something truly magical together.”
This rare and insightful workshop was not just a trip down memory lane but a powerful reminder of the enduring impact of great mentorship in the world of cinema.
