MUMBAI: ALTBalaji has just dropped the trailer of yet another edge-of-the-seat drama, Bekaaboo and by the looks of it, this sensual mystery drama will surely leave the audiences hooked. Kiyaan Roy’s bestselling erotica novel gifts him 'the perfect life' as it becomes a raging hit across the country but deep down, he craves the wild pleasure, which comes with a little pain! One day he realizes that someone knows his secret and is equally obsessed with the pleasure in pain. Surprised and tempted, he sets out to explore his dark fantasies with her. But things turn out to be wilder than his imagination and he ends up at the verge of losing everything he ever loved.
An adaptation of Novoneel Chakraborty’s bestseller, “Black Suits You”, this intense sensual thriller will see Priya Banerjee who was last seen in the ALTBalaji family drama Baarish, play the role of a seductress stalker. The sultry siren, who will essay the role of Kashti, is sure to make you fall head over heels for her as he tries her best to lure her man into her trap. On the other side, we see, as Kiyaan, doing his best to come out of the web of lies, lust, blackmail, and deceit.
Playing the role of a seductress stalker will be speaking on the show, Priya Banerjee shares, “After Baarish, this is going to be my second stint with ALTBalaji and Ekta, who’s always been a pleasure to work with. This will be also the second time that I’ve worked on an adaptation of Novoneel Chakraborty’s novel. The character of kashti is a complete departure from what I have played in Baarish. I am an outgoing, clever, conniving, sexy woman who stalks and lures her man into her trap. I hope the audience like and appreciate Kashti, as it required me to shed a lot of inhibitions and put in a lot of effort into this role. I feel this show deserves a lot of love and appreciation, as it was very challenging and for the team to pull this off.”
Playing the role of an author, Rajeev Siddhartha Shares, “I simply had a memorable time working with the cast and crew at Bekaaboo. The roles were so well written with there being such depth to the character’s journey. It takes a team to make a great show and that’s exactly what I saw as everyone worked together to ensure we deliver something never seen before.
