All TV lovers, it’s time for a mini heart attack.
Yes, small screen’s one of the finest and good looking actors has decided to quit Hindi television.
We are talking about tall, handsome and muscular Punjabi munda, Kushal Tandon.
The actor gained popularity playing Virat in Star Plus’ Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai and later followed it up with Star Plus’ Nach Baliye.
It is a known fact now that his show Ek Hazaaron will end in the coming weeks and after that, making an exclusive revelation to Tellychakkar.com, the actor stated that he is done and dusted working in the small screen space.
“Well, I still have to wrap up Ek Hazaaron… and as per the schedule, we have to shoot till the end of August. So, let’s see how things work out. Talking about my next show, well it’s a big ‘no’ to television now because my next focus is only on doing movies.”

Anyways moving on, he further adds, “I am already getting calls for good roles and also going for look s, so let’s see how things unfold,” he adds.
Among the many actors who are moving from the small to the big screen, who is your inspiration? “Frankly speaking, there is nobody who inspires me,” Kushal quips.
Choosing his favourite directors in Bollywood, the actor points to the likes of Shoojit Sircar, Anurag Kashyap, Nikhil Advani amongst others.
Talking about his dream role, he avers, “Now, I want to do some real cinema and would love to play grey shaded or psycho lover roles in future.”
