Piyush Sahdev resumes shoot for Sapne Suhane; thanks channel and production team for being supportive

Piyush Sahdev who essays one of the lead roles in Zee TV’s Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke is back on the set after a forced break of nearly 10 days. Yes, the actor was admitted in hospital after he suffered from viral fever and severe throat and chest congestion. Unfortunately for him, the doctors diagnosed infections in the liver and kidney. His ill-health forced him to opt out of shoot for a long time. But with a major track opening up around him, it was a tough situation for the channel as well as the maker (Shakuntalam Telefilms). However, the actor is highly satisfied with the way his absence from work was treated. Says Piyush, “I was really not expecting the Producers to be so cooperative. Instead of putting pressure on me, which could have worsened my state, they allowed me to recover fully, managed without me for almost 10 days. Shyam ji (Producer Shyamashis Bhattacharjee) personally visited me in the hospital and understood from the doctors about my state and how I needed rest. He made sure that I got it. Even when I started shooting, they started with shooting only for half day with me. I am really touched by Zee TV programming team's gesture of sending me a beautiful bouquet and agreeing to change the story line to adjust my absence! In fact the changes were extremely smart and managed to build up the curiosity in public about my absence and coming back! It's rare to work with such a combo of extremely human and understanding producers and channel! People rightly say, Shakuntalam is one of the best productions to work for in all aspects!!
