MUMBAI: Podcasts are a new viral content-sharing medium, and Sapna Babul Kaa... Bidaai fame Sara Khan, who is currently seen in Chhathi Maiyya Ki Bitiya, said, “They are a fun and exciting way for people to connect. It’s amazing how celebrities can open up and share their stories, thoughts, and experiences.”
“It feels personal, and you get to hear them in a way you never would in an interview,” she added.
She also stressed that with so much information being circulated, sometimes true and sometimes false, celebrities today are more real and transparent about their lives. She added, “It’s nice because we can see a different side of them, but I think it’s important to find a balance. Sharing personal stories can be empowering, but it’s also important to know where to draw the line.”
Sara, however, mentioned that privacy is becoming rare and added, “But it’s up to each person to decide how much they want to share. Some things are best kept personal, but it’s also nice to be able to connect with fans on a deeper level.”
She also shared her views on breakups, divorces, marriages, and pregnancy being shared on social media and said, “I think it’s perfectly okay if celebrities want to share big milestones like engagements, marriages, or pregnancies. It’s a part of their life, and fans love being a part of it too. But they should only share what they feel comfortable with.”
What about personal and professional things going viral? “Going viral can be fun, but I believe it should happen naturally, not for the sake of attention. If something meaningful resonates with people, that’s great. As for me, I’d only want to share what feels right and authentic to me, not just to go viral. I want to get viral for the right reasons and for my professional work,” Sara ended.
