Popular TV couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij board a bus!

The ‘oh so in love’ made for each other TV couple Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij recently got to experience the city’s popular bus ride. Surprised!!! So were we!! Recently, Mahhi uploaded a few snaps of her with a few friends and hubby Jay in a BEST bus that caught our attention and so we put our journalism skills on work and got down to get some more information on the same. After investigations we learnt that the couple enjoyed the trip while on their way back from Versova beach on 10 September 2013 after immersing their Ganapati idol. But why in a public transport? Well, the couple had driven to the beach along with friends in their cars, but on their way back, things got a bit difficult with one car heading towards Chembur to drop some of his family members. Thus, the duo was left with just a car and a lot of friends. Hence, the couple and friends decided on travelling by autos. But since the entire Versova area was packed with people who had come to immerse their Ganesh idol, they couldn’t find autos. Incidentally, when they happened to spot an empty BEST bus heading to Goregoan all of them simply hopped in. When we contacted one of Jay and Mahhi’s friend, he confirmed the same on the basis of anonymity and said, “It was a last minute call plus we thought travelling in a bus would be so much fun after long. Jay got into a bus after seven years and so did Mahhi; we had fun time in this short travelling experience.” Luckily the artist did not even get mobbed! So the BEST ride definitely proved the ‘best’ experience.
