Chetnaa Meeraa

MUMBAI: Name change is not an unusual phenomenon in the world of glamour. TV actress Chetnaa Meeraa, who acted in popular TV shows like Kasam and Kaisi Yeh Yaarian 2, has gone through a name change.

The actress earlier named Chetna Kanturia, has gone through a name metamorphosis. She has added her mother’s name and an extra A to her name.

Astronomy, love for mother or whatever be the reason, it seems, changing of name has worked in the favour of the actress. Chetnaa has bagged a pivotal role in Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More, helmed under Jay Productions.

Earlier, TellyChakkar had reported about actor Vineet Chaudhary and Jaanvi Sangwan entering the Zee TV show. As per the upcoming track, a new family member would be introduced. As part of the track, one of the members of the family would be essayed by Chetnaa. She’ll play Vineet’s sister in the storyline.

A reliable source revealed that she’d be playing the antagonist in the daily soap. Her character would add more difficulties to the lives of Yesha Rughani and Shoaib Ibrahim’s characters.

Apparently, the actress, who was also seen in Jodha Akbar, will start shooting for the project in a day or so.

When we contacted, Chetnaa refused to comment.

With so many entries, surely the upcoming episodes of Jeet Gayi Toh Piya More look promising.

Keep watching the daily soap on Zee TV and stay tuned to TellyChakkar for more exclusive updates and spoilers.
