It is a sports drama directed by Akarsh Khurana and also stars Priyanshu Painyuli. Taapsee will be seen playing the role of an athlete in the film while Priyanshu will play the role of her husband. Rashmi Rocket is written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon. The film is slated to release next year.
Now, the latest we hear is that actor VJ Mantra has joined the cast.
The film lead Taapsee Pannu plays the role of a Gujarati girl named Rashmi in the film, who is a fast runner because of which her fellow villagers have nicknamed her ‘Rocket’.
The film also stars Vicky Kadian, Priyanshu Painyuli, Vishant Vaibhav amongst others.
