MUMBAI: Colors show Durga was a tale of a tribal girl who defies social expectations to follow her love for the royal heir Anurag and become a doctor, despite opposition from strong tribal woman Paani Bai.
The show starred Pranali Rathod as Durga, Indira Krishnan as Paani Bai, and Aashay Mishra as Anurag, Produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures, the show was set in Jodhpur and the story followed Durga, a tribal girl aspiring to become a doctor.
The show did well as per the TRP ratings but went off-air soon, leaving fans wanting for more.
Even though the show went off-air on January 5th this year, talks about the show did not stop as the fans loved Aashay Mishra and Pranali Rathod’s chemistry. In fact, they loved the chemistry so much that there were rumours circulating on social media suggesting they might be dating. However, there was no confirmation about it...as of yet.

In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Aashay Mishra was asked about the relationship rumours and his view point on it, to which he gave a pretty insightful answer, clarifying that he is not dating his co-star Pranali Rathod.
Aashay Mishra said, “Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, we are just good friends. We’re really good friends, that is it. We’ve been co-actors and we vibed really well, that’s it. And we have common topics to talk and that is how we spend time and that is why she’s around and I’m around...”
Well, this should shut down the rumours now as Aashay Mishra has given the clarity now.
