MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai on Star Plus, which is produced by Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut Productions, has gained attention since Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopra left the show due to a generational shift last year. With this change, Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami took on the roles of Abhira and Armaan, the new main characters.

However, a shocking recent development has left everyone stunned: producer Rajan Shahi abruptly fired both Pratiksha Honmukhe and the male lead, Shehzada Dhami, for unprofessional behavior.

Also, there have been speculations that Shehzada and Pratiksha are dating each other in real life as well and their relationship also affected the work environment. Months after her exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Pratiksha Honmukhe aka Ruho broke her silence for the first time in a recent interview and dismissed any romantic involvement with her YRKKH co-star. Yes, you read that right!

Defining that Shehzada Dhami is just a good friend, Pratiksha spoke with the well-known news portal,, "Nahi hum toh ek dusre ko date kar hi nahi rahe the. We are still good friends aur hamesha good friends hi rahenge. I don't know logon ne yeh kya soch liya. Just because woh mera pehla show tha toh wahan par jo sabse pehle mera dost bana tha woh Shehzada hi tha."

She added, "So the way, he helped me, the way he was with me, uss wajah se humari ek bond ban gayi thi. Aap kisi ke saath jyada comfortable ho toh woh bond ban jati hai, iska matlab yeh nahi hai ki aap uske saath ho. So main yahi kehna chahungi ki hum dost the aur dost hai. Iske alawa aur kuch bhi nahi hai."

Garvita Sadhwani is now playing Ruhi in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. While Pratiksha is moving on and landed ZEE TV's Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. The actress is slated to play Virat's ex-wife Priyanka in the beloved serial, which stars Sriti Jha and Arjit Taneja in the key roles.
