Pratyusha Banerjee's ready to rock the dance floor in Jhalak

Click on the pic to view slideshow The very gorgeous looking bahu of Indian television Anandi will now be seen in a western avatar in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 5. This actress who has been a part of Colors’ Balika Vadhu all this while is all excited about moving out of her on-screen image Anandi. “I am really very excited as I get to don a new look in Jhalak. I will no more be wearing just Indian attires, instead I will get to try on some western clothes”, says the actress with a merry smile. So what is that one thing that excites her most about this dance reality show? “People will get to know me as Pratyusha and not Anandi.” Hmm…we get that. But the Indian audience is comparatively very conservative, so will they accept her in this new role? “If they love Anandi they will definitely love Prtayusha as well.” Talking about the progress in the show, she tells us, “I have just started rehearsing but it’s been a little difficult to take time out of my busy schedule. Still I am enjoying it.” Ask her how will she manage to balance two shows and she avers, “Things will work out.” Jhalak is a dance competition and there will be just one winner at the end of the contest. So will she put up a strong competition? “I think I am competing against myself. But frankly speaking, I am on this show for a lot of masti and dhamaal.
