Here’s presenting some latest developments from Sahara One’s show Niyati (produced by Creative Eye). We have learnt that veteran actor Prithvi Zutshi has replaced actor Virendra Singh in the show. Virendra was seen playing Niyati’s (Jayshree Soni) father but Prithvi is now all set to step into his shoes. As per a reliable source, Virendra has been facing date issues as he has commitments with Balaji’s ICE also-a training institute to groom aspiring artist. Hence, the channel and the production house were left with no option but to replace him and bring in Prithvi. Coincidentally, Prithvi’s real life son Kunal Singh is already a part of Niyati. He plays the character of Rishi in the show. Tellychakkar.com spoke to Prithvi who confirmed the same and said, “Yes, I am a part of Niyati now.” The actor has begun rolling from today (11 September 2012).
