She will play a daring officer, who gave her heart and soul in fighting a human trafficking case. The episode has been shot in Chandigarh and the story is titled Mardaani. It is being produced by Damini Shetty’s company, Mystic – An Entertainment Company.

We hear that the role was indeed challenging for Damini, wherein she had to get involved in chase and fight sequences as the cop.

When contacted, Damini confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, “Yes, this will be an action-packed episode. Crime Patrol is usually known for their male cops and the manner in which they play their roles. In fact they have been so real that one tends to salute them for looking and playing their part so well. So yes, it was a challenge to play a female cop in Crime Patrol. The biggest challenge was to live up to the expectations set by the male cops on the show. The team was very good, and the director was amazing.”

The story Mardaani will air tomorrow, 15 December on Crime Patrol.
