Purbi Joshi to feature in Indo Canadian film

Talented actress Purbi Joshi has just completed her maiden English feature film, titled The Good Friday. The Indo-Canadian project has been produced by Bits and Pieces Production. The story is about six friends and how their lives change on a Friday. Talking about her character, Purbi says, "I play the character of Dimple, whose boyfriend is a white Canadian. There are several shades to the character and the story is about how her life changes because of the turn of events that take place on a Friday, and how that affects her equation with her boyfriend." "It was a challenging role which I thoroughly enjoyed. The Good Friday gave me a chance to break the image of a comedian that I hold. I am an actor who can do everything and not just comedy. It's a refreshing change for me ", adds the actress. The Good Friday is expected to do the rounds of various festivals.
