Puru Chibber quits Pavitra Rishta; Vikrant Massey roped in to play Soham?

TV lovers might be wondering where has Puru Chibber aka Sachin vanished from the show Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV (produced by Balaji Telefilms). His track is nowhere to be seen and this gave us the idea that something fishy might be cropping up on the tables of the creatives. We decided to dig deep and learned that Puru, who gained popularity via Khotey Sikkey, had put down his papers and is currently serving his notice period. A source informed that he went on to talk to the creatives and told them that he is not happy with the way his track was shaping up. Hence, he chose to move on. We got in touch with Puru, who said, “I don’t want to say anything. I just want to say that my track is currently not on in Pavitra Rishta.” We understand, in these matters, it’s difficult to come on record. Now, we have come to know about one more development in the show. Handsome and talented, Vikrant Massey has been brought on board to play the role of Soham in Pavitra Rishta. Vikrant was seen in Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo and Balika Vadhu. He will be also seen in the upcoming Bollywood flick Lootera. “Yeh, talks are on but I am yet to sign the dotted line.
