Actress Purvi Mundada who essayed the role of Dolly in Star Plus’ Nisha Aur Uske Cousins will now bring in positivity to the show on Life OK, Dream Girl (Shashi Sumeet Productions).

She has been roped in to play the role of Richa, the love interest of Karan (Kunal Verma).

As reported by us, Chandni Bhagwanani who was last seen as the lead in Tum Hi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi was finalized to play the character. However, the deal did not happen for certain reasons.

Getting into the role now will be Purvi. Unlike her earlier homely and timid character in Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, she will play the character of a girl who would be highly confident, bold and would face the toughest of situations with a smile on her face. Purvi will sport a new avatar for the show, and will be shown ultra-glamorous.

As per reliable sources, “She will come in as the location manager working for Navrang, and will decide on the shoot places for the movie. Richa will fall for Karan.”

When contacted, Purvi confirmed the news stating, “Yes, I am entering Dream Girl in a very positive role. I will look very different when compared to my earlier role of Dolly.”

Purvi’s introductory sequence will be aired tonight (30 November).
