How is the experience of playing a Gujarati character being a Gujarati in real life?

A Gujarati character is often trendily etched very characteristic, while there is more to them than just typical styles portrayed. I am delighted that our writers and JD sir have kept her so real and shown the pros of a Gujarati woman in actuality through Sonal. Thus performing her is effortless.

Every platform be it TV, films and web has a lot of different varieties of roles to offer. What kind of roles are you looking for in future?

I miss performing comedy, I bloom and enjoy myself most in this genre. A negative role is also something I’ve been exploring recently in films and have found a vast ground there to play well.

There are no fixed off-days when an actor works for a daily soap. What is your take on this? Are you okay working on weekends?

I love and enjoy my job more than anything else in the world. My work is my unwinding. I happiest when I am acting, or even preparing for a new script or role. When you love your job so much, it doesn’t matter what off days you get or you don’t.

Well said, Bhakti!
