Raaja Mukerji ka naya show aavat hai

After producing Hindi shows, Raaja Mukerji (Rani’s brother) is now trying his luck with a Bhojpuri show, Aanchal on Mahua TV. It will go on air on Monday at 9.30pm. It’s a daily soap. Raaja always wanted to do shows in various languages, “I am doing a family drama, which no one has done in Bhojpuri so far, all their shows are usually about Thakurs and their fights. This show is about human emotions. I am also planning a Bengali show.” He claims his crew had a tough time during the auditions. “I auditioned for nearly two months as I wanted actors who could carry off the parts well, and some fresh faces too but who could speak the language fluently.” He says his show will be low on melodrama. “I have been watching Bhojpuri channels for some time now, just to get the hang of the language. I have treated it just the way I would, a Hindi show.” Aanchal has been shot in Bajidpur, at Patna and Mumbai. It is a story about Aanchal who struggles to fulfill her responsibilities towards her family and at the same is silently in love with a guy who’s oblivious to her feelings.
