Raghu not a part of Roadies 7

The intimidating Raghu Ram who has been associated with MTV’s popular adventure game show Roadies since its first season is not a part of the seventh and the latest season of the show. Viewers of the show remember him as rude, mean and humiliating. But nonetheless it was Raghu who helped better TRPs. He became the man who we all loved to hate but the latest season of Roadies will not have him. To the uninitiated, Raghu’s twin brother Rajeev Laxman too was a part of the judges panel during the audition rounds of the sixth season of the show. With Raghu out the show will lose the spice but the makers of the show have an added attraction on the show in the form of Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan. According to reports, the actor is quite an adventurous person and loves to globe-trot. Since, Roadies fulfills all the requirements he decided to take up the show. He will throw open seven twists to the contestants when it’s least expected. We tried contacting Raghu Ram but he remained unavailable. We also contacted Ashish Patil, GM MTV India & Senior Vice President – Creative & Content, but he said he was busy in a meeting. The journey of Roadies 7 begins from the barren lands of Bhuj in Gujarat and continues to enter North Africa covering Egypt, Kenya and Tanzania. Rannvijay leads the pack as he kick starts the journey.
