MUMBAI: Rahul Vaidya has recently made headlines due to a string of controversies, notably his public criticism of Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. Vaidya called Kohli a “joker,” which sparked outrage among cricket fans. In retaliation, Kohli allegedly blocked him on Instagram, prompting further online debate. The situation escalated when Kohli’s brother, Vikas, called Vaidya a “loser” seeking attention. Vaidya later revealed that his wife, actress Disha Parmar, had received abusive messages and that trolls had morphed images of their daughter, leading to increased concern.

However, the tension eased when Vaidya shared that Kohli had unblocked him, and he publicly praised the cricketer for his contributions to Indian sports. In a separate act, Vaidya declined a ₹50 lakh offer to perform at a wedding in Turkey, citing the country’s political stance during the India-Pakistan conflict. These incidents have kept the singer in the limelight, reflecting the complex relationship between celebrity opinion, nationalism, and public response.
Amidst all this, the singer has now posted a few unseen pictures performing at an event where he had some moments of joy with Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
