Rains cause damage to Kesariya balam sets

Most TV shows today depicts rural tales. So, it becomes important to show rural settings. Usually, the initial episodes are shot in rural locales but thereafter the unit creates a near village-like set in the city. Setting up a rural set means constructing mud-houses which need to be looked after well. Trouble is bound to brew if these homes get washed in rain. Unfortunately, that’s what happened to the sets of Sahara One and <a href=http://www.tellychakkar.com/news/ananda-telefilms-produce-agnisakshi-sahara-one>Ananda Telefims</a> new show <em>Kesariya balam</em>.

Unfortunately, that’s what happened to the sets of Sahara One and Ananda Telefims new show Kesariya balam. The November rains have hit Kesariya Balam hard causing damage to the sets at Bhaita Island in Madh region. Confirming the news, producer Sangeeta Sinha says, “The set approximately cost us around Rs 4.5 million. Rains have caused some structural damage. The repair will cost Rs.500, 000. Despite this damage our schedule wasn’t affected much has we somehow managed to meet the deadline.” Kesariya balam, which goes on air from today, stars Akshat Gupta, Jaya Binju and Toral Rasputra.
