MUMBAI: Vrushika Mehta has joined the cast of Rajan Shahi's popular drama "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" as a child psychologist Dr. Riddhima. The actress said that the producer spoke to her just before she began shooting and it encouraged and motivated her a lot.
"Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai" is one of the longest-running TV shows in the industry. The show features Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi in lead roles. It airs on Star Plus and is being produced under Director's Kut Productions.
Talking about working with the ace producer, the "Dil Dosti Dance" actress said, "Rajan Shahi sir is a lovely human being, and from the time I took up the role he has been very encouraging and supportive of me. He gave me some great pep talks before I began shooting which helped me boost my morale and take off a great start. His whole approach towards the cast and crew is filled with warmth and encouragement which truly makes him stand out."
The "Yeh Teri Galiyan" confessed that it feels great to be associating with a brand like "Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai", and added, "The show has been one of the most steady and strong shows on television in the last couple of years."
"Its reach and audience base is huge, and the love and support that it has from its fans is tremendous, so to be a part of it now is quite amazing!" Vrushika said.
