Rajshri quits Saat Phere

Different theories have cropped up with regards to Rajshri Thakur’s future in Saat Phere. The latest theory in line is that Rajshri will soon be shown the exit door and she’d be replaced by a big name from the TV industry. Contrary to these reports, Rajshri is not being sacked but the actress herself has called it quits. The reclusive Rajshri informs, “I’m not being sacked but I have quit the show two days back. I just felt that I needed more time for me and I also have certain family commitments,” said the actress. Seconding Rajshri’s claim a source from the production says, “Rajshri is not being replaced but she asked us to look for a replacement. She’s been struggling to balance her professional and personal life. All this has taken its toll on her and that’s the reason we find her indulging into tantrums. We haven’t begun looking for a replacement yet.” When asked whether she was struggling to balance her professional and personal life, Rajshri replied, “No, I’ve never faced such problems. In fact my family has supported me in all my decisions. It’s not that I took this profession after my marriage. In the past too, I had expressed my desire to leave but the production house and channel kept telling me that they would work out a solution. However, being the protagonist you are required to be there in virtually every scene thus it’s difficult to have a solution.” What about the reports of her throwing tantrums? She clarifies, “I’d like to know what the definition of a tantrum is? Reports of me having a fight with my dress attendant are totally false. I have never interfered with the scripts. I have always been punctual and in fact, I was always the last one to leave the sets.” Given an option, would you return to the show after having sufficient rest? “I can only decide this at that point of time. At the moment, I want to enjoy my break. The last two days have been very relaxing. It’s festival time and I have spent the last few days shopping,”
