MUMBAI: Ramanand Sagar's mythological series Ramayan is one of the most popular shows of Indian television. The show, which aired back in the 90s, is currently being re-run for the viewers.
While everyone is getting nostalgic with Ramayan’s re-run, it is a pure delight to see the wonderful star cast on the small screen.
Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhalia and Sunil Lahri who played the role of Ram, Sita and Laxman respectively became stars overnight. Ramayan proved to be a turning point for these stars.
Dipika was highly praised for her role as Sita. Her beauty and aura was unmatchable and she completely got into the skin of her character.
Dipika had recently shared a picture of hers when she was contesting from Vadodra. The picture has Dipika along with Lal Krishna Advani and young Narendra Modi. The picture has gone viral in no time.
Along with the picture, Dipika wrote a caption, “An old photo of the time when I was standing in Vadodara election. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is seated with me on the right, then Lal Krishna Advani, then I and Nalin Bhatt, the election in-charge”.
