MUMBAI: Sunil Grover is returning to the small screen with Star Plus' new show Kanpur Wale Khuranas. The show is slated to go on floors by mid-December. As per media reports, Ranveer Singh and director Rohit Shetty will be the first celebrities on the show. The duo is coming on the show to promote their movie Simmba.
Alhough there is no confirmation on the same, this would be Ranveer’s first appearance after his wedding with Deepika Padukone. The show will air towards the end of 2018.
Ranveer Singh has been grabbing headlines these days. Padmaavat was a blockbuster, and his marriage with Deepika was the biggest talking point of the year.
As per media reports, the second episode will have Sara Ali Khan and Karan Johar. Ranveer's episode will be shot in the first week of December after he gets free from his wedding receptions in Bengaluru and Mumbai.
Apart from Sunil, the show will also feature Adaa Khan. It is a finite series with 16 episodes in total to be spread over eight weeks.
Kapil's former team members Ali Asgar and Upasana Singh will feature in prominent roles.
