BIG Magic has an attractive line-up of upcoming shows for its audiences which include those from the houses of Creative Eye and Hats Off Productions. But before these serials start airing, the channel has an interesting story to narrate - Raavi (Taurus Productions).
The show is about a little girl called Raavi whose mother takes a dramatic life decision to disguise her as a boy due to peculiar circumstances. Raavi’s true identity is hidden in the larger interest of safeguarding villagers as well as her own family’s stakes. This initiates an extremely interesting cat and mouse game cleverly handled by little Raavi who plays a dual role skillfully.
The little Raavi will be played by Rimmi Srivastava who had earlier played a role in Veera. Her mother Amrita will be essayed by Rashmi Singh who is currently playing Taraz Pari in SAB TV’s Baal Veer.
Furthermore, the character of Papaji who happens to be the village Sarpanch, will be essayed by Govind Pandey of Band Baja Baaraat fame.
When contacted Rashmi she confirmed the same and said, “It is a beautiful story of a mother and a daughter who keep a secret.”
The show is all set to air from 9 September 2013.
